About Corey
I am a community planner, facilitator, ritual artist, and coach (currently pursuing ICF ACC certification) devoted to social and ecological regeneration. With more than a decade of experience in urban and community planning, I’ve learned to blend technical skill with human-centered care to guide processes of visioning, design, and collective decision-making.
Drawing on both urban planning and permaculture design, I help individuals and communities see their challenges in relation to larger systems. By recognizing the interdependence of personal, cultural, organizational, and ecological dynamics, I support coaching and facilitation clients in finding clarity, grounding, and direction in times of transition.
I am guided by the principle that roots matter. I believe resilience comes from connection to what nourishes us. By strengthening those connections, I help people and communities not only withstand disruption but also regenerate in ways that sustain life and contribute to a more just and harmonious world.
Here’s how people describe working with me:
“Working with Corey has been an incredible experience. He has a rare gift for listening deeply, not just to the words being said, but to what’s really going on underneath. Every time we’ve worked together, he’s been able to reflect back such clarity that I walk away feeling lighter, more grounded, and with new perspective.
What stands out most is his gentleness and his strong ethics. Corey creates a safe space where honesty, respect, and integrity are always at the forefront. He is very intentional about how he practices, and his ethics shine through in the way he honors boundaries and ensures safety at every step.
On top of that, he’s not only insightful and wise, but also down-to-earth and genuinely cool to work with. His presence alone is calming, and his coaching leaves you feeling understood and empowered.
I can’t recommend Corey highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who is ethical, wise, approachable, and able to bring real clarity into life’s complexities, Corey is the one.”

“Coaching with Corey has been an incredibly supportive experience. Corey’s tone and presence immediately create a sense of safety, which allows me to bring even the most sensitive topics into our sessions with ease. I always feel deeply heard, and Corey’s ability to listen with empathy makes me feel understood at a level that’s rare to find. What stands out most is how skillfully Corey asks insightful questions that not only spark new awareness but also guide me toward practical next steps.
There was a time I entered a session feeling highly anxious about a situation, and through Corey’s thoughtful inquiry, I was able to shape a plan that truly supported me. Later, when I faced a similar anxious moment, I leaned on what we had worked through together and found myself able to navigate it with confidence. Corey’s coaching adapts seamlessly to different topics I bring, and each conversation leaves me feeling grounded, empowered, and clear about my path forward.
Coaching with Corey has been a gift: I walk away from sessions not just with awareness, but with the tools and confidence to take action.”

“I couldn’t recommend Corey enough. His empathy, presence, and clarity shine through in every interaction. He has an impeccable ability to help you articulate what you are trying to express and guide you forward, even when you feel stuck or without the words or tools to understand yourself. Corey also has a rare gift for recognizing and bringing out the light and strengths in others when they can’t see it for themselves.
I have sought out Corey’s help during times of incredible difficulty, and his support was profound. He helped me recognize what was coming up and guided me through the next steps with wisdom and empathy. I trust Corey completely to navigate challenging moments with anyone he works with.”
“I have ADHD and Corey's support was imperative to clarifying and birthing what wanted to come through me. They held a deep, slow witness that brought me back to my intentions, tools and body wisdom, reflecting back to me the glitter that was becoming more visible. Helping ground and refine it, they honored the nonlinearity and quantum leaps needed for this project to have wings.
Corey was also able to pivot so seemlessly into improvisational ritual wildness, as there were sessions where I needed prayer and embodiment to gain clarity. They were the perfect coach to witness and walk alongside this endeavor. I am so grateful for calling in their midwifery support.”

“Corey was 100% dependable because he made himself available, because I was a priority. I could tell that this coaching was an expression of his broader work in social justice mission, which clearly means so much to him.
Corey had a knack for gear-shifting between listening openly and offering insights, reflections, suggestions for review. He never interrupted or intruded with unwelcome projections.
Sometimes I’d be speaking in what would have been a word soup to someone with less patience, as I tend to process my thoughts verbally. Corey would somehow stick with me and help me keep my thread. This was a truly valuable resource for me, and was supportive of my challenges in executive functioning. Corey maintained strong active listening through my messy thought processes, helping me process my often symbolic expressions into coherent meaning. He’d hang out with me in that liminal space.
It was cool working with someone who I’ve seen in the trenches of some of the key work of our time: re-villaging in a postmodern, alienated society; designing spaces in support of community cohesion; replacing shame with vulnerability. Corey is a cool, beautiful person who is just so mellow to be around. I recommend him to anyone who is ready to do The Work.”
“Meeting Corey while birthing a festival was a major gift. I couldn't have imagined a more humble, available and heartfelt co-creator than Corey. There were many roadblocks and surprises where their demeanor of kind-hearted clarity saw us through the muck and grind. This human really knows how to show up. They also really know how to get on the mic and make 100 participants laugh and fall in love (though they would never claim this).
Corey wasn't phased by the chaos of unpredictability that comes along with running something vast and complex. He helped our group anchor into shared values, identify missing pieces, and find the perfect words to remind us of our why. I am continually amazed at Corey's agility in the sacred dance of flow and structure. ”
