Interplay Festival

Interplay Festival (Portland, OR) was a community-led experiment in what an LGBTQ+ intimacy gathering can be when rooted in belonging, safety, and care. The project brought together diverse queer communities through collaborative decision-making and shared leadership. My role was to hold the vision, introduce tools and processes for community-building and project management, facilitate organizational meetings, and to weave together teams of local queer community members stepping up as organizers, facilitators, and volunteers. More than just a festival, Interplay became a space for leaders to grow, and a living example of what’s possible when we create together with intention.
